Antoine Bonnard “Di Angelo”: The story of a Little Prince on two wheels

The story of Antoine, this modern Little Prince, begins at a very young age. At birth, he is diagnosed with polycystic kidney disease, but he discovers life with one kidney. His physical fragility does not make him lose sight of his dreams. At the age of three, he watches his first Grand Prix on television. This moment marks a revelation, a passion that instantly makes his heart beat. In the family living room, the edges of the sofa are transformed into an imaginary GP motorcycle, and our little Prince is already ready for the adventure of his life

“I only had one kidney, but that didn’t stop me from dreaming. I knew I wanted to become a motorcycle racer.”

In his heart, a flame burns, determination opens doors that many would have thought closed. At fourteen, Antoine sits down with his parents at his nephrologist to explore if his dream can become reality. It is at this moment that his father offers him the greatest gift of all: the promise to support his ambition.

With the unwavering support of his family and the teaching of renowned rider Hervé Moinneau, Antoine throws himself body and soul into the world of motorcycling.
